With every iteration of our seasonal espresso blend, we try to achieve a result that is sweet and clean, with familiar notes that pair well with milk or on its own. Our current seasonal espresso blend delivers notes of dark chocolate and almond nougat with caramel sweetness.
Low in acidity and layered in profile.
About Puente Solaya, PERU
The Puente Solaya micro-lot comes from the Callayuc district in the Cutervo province, where cultivation of coffee is recent, especially in the populated centers. In Spanish, ‘puente’ means bridge and Solaya is the hill separating the two communities where this lot was sourced. This hill is a great metaphor of a link, a nexus, a bridge (“puente'') between both communities that share potential for great coffee and warm hospitality.
Puente Solaya adds caramel sweetness and a rich chocolate profile to the blend.
About Fazenda Rio Brilhante, Brazil
Inacio first arrived in Minas Gerais in 1976 with the dream of producing great coffee via sustainable and innovative practices. After acquiring his own farm in Cerrado Mineiro in 1984, Rio Brilhante has grown to become one of the largest farms in the region, as well as one of the largest in the country, spanning over 2,000 hectares. Since Inacio planted those first trees over 30 years ago, he has continued to strive for excellence within the specialty industry, mainly via his use of rigorous quality control methods.
Rio Brilhante's cup profile lends this blend a rounded and nutty profile with a rich body.
